Behold! The first of 3 rap videos is now available!
The star of these is undoubtedly Anj, with his aggressive gravel voiced rap attitude. It’s seriously funny stuff. Check out the end of take 2 at 24 seconds in. I’m laughing so hard that I practically fall over with the camera. It still makes me laugh every time I watch it.
So, sit back and enjoy ‘Gravy Gravy, I Don’t Think So’.
Another video for you tonight. When we filmed this I remember Rob and I wanted to do a crash zoom right into his face, but we had neither the camera or editing software to do it. On the original footage I zoom in slowly, stop, run down the hill to film Rob, stop, then run back up again to film the zoom out.
I’ve edited this to try and achieve what we had originally intended, it’s a bit rubbish though.
I’m quite enjoying this video editing lark! At University I played around with Adobe Premiere a little bit and always found it fun. I’m editing these with iMovie and I’m finding it a little basic, especially for audio, but it’s robust and quick to use. I fancy FCPX, but the reviews at the moment seem to suggest waiting until the bugs are sorted out.
Can you imagine if we’d had this software when we were younger? Kids today, they don’t know how good they’ve got it!
Tonight I’ve edited a bunch of random clips starring Jon and Sam, so enjoy ‘Cunning Stunts’ and let me know what you think!
I’ve spent an hour or so tonight editing a few more of the videos together. Hopefully I’ll get to upload one a day for the next week or so. There are so many funny clips, I’m looking forward to you seeing them all again.
I don’t want to spoil it by uploading all the long ones first, so I’ll start with a few short ones. Up tonight is ‘Offishally Banned’ starring Anj. Enjoy and don’t forget the comments!
In the mid-nineties a group of us from Walton High School got together and filmed a bunch of stupid videos. After 15 years I’ve finally digitised the old tapes and have begun to edit them.
For those of you who know the history of these videos it seemed only right to start with ‘Breadman’. We purchased stale bread from a local bakers and strapped it to Jon Goad with elastic bands. We then made him wave at traffic.
I plan to upload new videos as frequently as I can, hopefully once a week, so check back soon!
For now I’ll leave you with ‘Breadman’. I giggle like a girl, Rob Symington demands pelvic thrusts and Jon looks awesome.
